I heard that yesterday that Plainedge was out on their field already starting to practice with their Qb, Wrs and Rbs now if that doesnt show dedication idk what does. These kids must want this LIC bad if their out in February preparing for the season.

Not allowed to do that? What are you like a rule book....since when are kids not allowed to work on things they need to without coaches and play some 7 on 7 | |

Who ever is leaving posts insisting that there is a starting 10th grade fullback and tailback on the plainedge red devils is completly wrong. There is a returning senior tail back #36 and a returning junior fullback #45 to run the backfield next year. The same combo on the undefeated plainedge jv team in 2007. There is a 10th grade running back moving up to varsity to watch and learn how varsity is a totaly different game then jv. The plainedge offensive line and tailback 36 and fullback 45 will be strong factors in ever game played. Read what you type. You talk about the 2007 undefeated JV season and in the next sentence you say that the 10th grader will have to sit and watch because JV is a totally different game. Hope they are not holding offical practices yet........... | |

| footballfan789Posts: 2Location: Join Date: February 26, 2009 6:53 PMSend Message | February 26, 2009 8:00 PM plainedge vs bethpage will be in the county finals again. this time it will go into o.t. or plainedge will win close game. although they lost valuable players this year, they do still have a lot of talent. their qb w.crapo was on 2cnd string behind m.rossi this year. I did not see him pass too much this year but he has good size and I can tell his coaches, teammates have faith in him.their receivers g.bert m.vannucci and d.gillen are all going to help the offense. gillen being a taller receiver will be good for jump balls, and deep routes. Vannucci being a more built receiver will be used more for quick slants and screens. their rbs m.rakitzis j.knispel and r.franz will each contribute to crapos offense. m being a big body type kid will be the 4th and 2 back. j being a shifty back will make him good for the open field. r will be a powerful back. people also can not count lawrence out. May be better then people think | |

new coaching staff yes, but no mcrae or chagani not to mention most of the starters, if the coaches were so confident they wouldnt have asked for the 11. by the way keep your talk for on the field, sitting behind ur desk running your mouth is just pointless, especially to bethpage which even though isn't the favorite this year has been a perrenial powerhouse maybe they wanted the 11th seed to get an easier schedule | |
