Bottom of the first, the Braves are up 3-0. I'll go way out on a limb here and chalk this one up as another Loss for the Mets. This team is so bad, there are just no words to express it. Pelfrey stinks, and the team cannot hit its way out of a paper bag. This team is just plain pathetic. I cannot believe the Wilpons haven't canned Omar and Jerry both. They must be comatose over the money they lost to Madoff. For my part, I cannot understand how I even continue to watch these guys. I must be as delusional as they are bad. Somebody, help me. Dan Warthen has done a magnificent job with Pelfrey and the staff. Can we help him find the unemployment line along with Jerry and Sir Omar? The Wilpon's may be feeling the sting of the Madoff scam but we, the fans, are still expected to shell out the money to go see this product? If it weren't for going to a few upcoming games with my grandkids, I wouldn't be setting foot in this new stadium. Just pathetic. |

The past couple of seasons should make you puke! Bring up all the young kids and let's see what they can do. The season is toast and we have nothing to lose but more games at this point. Freddie Coupon and Jeffy Boy--You are ripping out our hearts! Since you want the Mets to be the Brooklyn Dodgers...That's fine. Fire Manuel and let Mrs. Hodges manage. She has more guts than Jerry. You can let Duke Snider be the GM. My goodness, even before the injuries, you know that this team had no heart other than Santana and K-Rod. Are you gearing up for your full page letter of apology the day after the season ends in the Newsday, Post, Bergen Record, Daily News. Ownership is content with the job that Omar, Tony B and Jerry have done? Gimme a break. Jeffy Boy & Freddie...you should be ASHAMED of these employee's. |
