While the move is understandable it put a big hole in the rotation next year. That means we would be looking at a rotation of Santana, Pelfrey, Perez, Neise (if he shows this season he belongs) and the probable return of Livan. I don't think this rotation scares anyone. Omar or his sucessor, if he gets the boot, sure has his work cut out for him this off-season. | |

Doubt they would let him go for nothing if he will be ready for next year. I like the guy. Hope his career is not in jeopardy. If sound he can be a dominant pitcher. The Yankees have a similar situation with Chien Min Wang. |
