Let me let in you in on a secret . . . . . . . I won’t be blaming Wang for that nor will I blame Posada or Girardi for tonight’s game but I could see this coming way back when and by that I don’t mean to say Wang is finished but merely that this shiit didn’t need to happen and for that I blame Cashman squarely and I will leave at that because frigging Cashman is extremely thin skinned and I don’t want to sent him to a wrong place where he might not be able to help the team for some time. But I’ll be honest: If I print my thoughts my tirade will be laced with nothing but off the wall profanities and I might even regret it but that’s how angry I’m and I know I’m right.

I will only say that it’s up to the team to come to Wang’s aid and make him feel the special someone he is the pitcher who is very talented and very courageous and someone who will really help the team this season; make sure he understands this is a just a frigging game and the season is way too long and make sure you mean it. This is a proud player from a proud nation and I understand Wang’s pain and I hope his teammates can truly help him while he’s a little bit unsure about how to go about putting these games in the back of his mind. You’re a champ in my books just turn the page and do whatever necessary to focus on the game again with the serene quiet confidence you showed us before . . . . . . . . . It doesn’t have to happen overnight . . . . . . The talent, the pride and the heart is there. We know that.

So breathe in easy and erase this bitter episode from your mind . . . . . . . the sooner . . . . . . . . . the better for the team. And remember what you are: a very able front end pitcher with a devastating power sinkerball and that’s some serious shiit my man.

Aroids says he’ll concentrate more on the team than on himself. Says the Zen Master: We shall see.

That game lost by Wang was so onesided that Swisher turned it into a personal circus (through no fault of his own) both at the plate and at the mound. The great thing was he was having fun . . . . . . . . . . Swish don’t ever change on our account.

Then he goes and makes a fool out of Garza in the next game in a very big way all in accordance with the way the game has been played for millennia. Did I say Swisher is a great fit?

Those were the Tampa Rays he tamed in Tampa. Hell of a game against an awesome team. Way to go A.J.

We also got a bonus in A.J. particularly when the time came to show he is one with his teammates. Did he retaliate for that throw on Swisher or the ball just got away from him? All I have to say is: Thank you Sir.

The team responded well: Brunney, Posada, Gardner, Cano, Swisher, Mark and Jeter. Great game; one that could have gone either way but it didn’t. We won fair and square.

Yankee relievers turned the $1.5 billion ballpark into the world's largest garbage dump. No page to turn this time. You are who you are. Own to it.

"We've had Opening Days we've won, we've had Opening Days we've lost,'' Derek Jeter said. "We would've liked to have won this one, but we didn't. You come back and hope to get our first win here tomorrow.'' Sorry Mon Captain but you missed the point this time. How much leadership do we get for $200 Mil.? TOMORROW WON’T BE OPENING DAY. Get it? And please don’t even think about diving into the seats . . . . . . . . we need able bodies more than ever.

| Bruce4RealPosts: 1681Location: Join Date: November 29, 2007 11:46 PMSend Message | Joba needs not despair that was indeed only one game see that was not opening day therefore things go back to normal and “normal” this year seems to mean part of the bullpen su&cks and we have plenty of pitchers young studs that can do the job so don’t give me this song and dance about we are paying these guys top dollars. They can’t do the job . . . . . . . F. screw them. We have Aceves, Kennedy, Robertson, Coke, Melancon etc. etc.. | |

Experienced relievers can’t be relied upon? Then screw them get someone else. What this team had been missing since the last part of the nineties is a warrior like sweet RAMIRO MENDOZA look no farther that was the key guy who made the team whole. His illustrious countryman got most of the credit but Ramiro Mendoza was the GLUE in the pitching staff. Can we have another Ramiro Mendoza or maybe two Ramiros? Of course IF we really try and worry less about the architecture of the place and more about the moving parts.
| Bruce4RealPosts: 1681Location: Join Date: November 29, 2007 11:46 PMSend Message | This stadium is forever soiled as far as the opening game is concerned and it’s up to the current roster to make that bitter taste go away by hitting those jacks before the opposition does thereby winning the games that need to be won. | |

Aroids is licking his chops. Hey Aroids stop it right there no need to rush get well not soon just get really well hold your horses man the JET STREAM will still be here when you show up for your first Kodak Moment (I know things will be different this time but this little voice in my ear keeps telling me you’ll play us for fools again, But what do I know? ). Just to torture you: every frigging fly ball of yours every single line drive and every single ball hit like a macho man will find its way into the stratosphere . . . . . you could even bunt to a different zip code maybe a different time zone . . . . That is . . . . IF . . . . . you keep your sights between those two foul poles. What could be easier? Even you could figure that one out.

Talking about Pedroia one can’t help thinking about Beckett and their unique version of the ROIDS RAGE. Yeah I know no sucs have been found guilty of doing them roids. Yeah right FRIG THAT and FRIG that revered report too. |
