It is quite evident that the blood that used to run through the Boss’ veins is not the same that does through Hal’s or doesn’t do the trick anymore. Oh I got it Hal belongs to the cream pie generation. My bad.

Let the fun begin. Four months from now when the team finishes out of the money let’s see who will be the lowest bidder for a baseball stadium with state of the art features including its own launch pad but no clubhouse occupants with guts or grit. Just a bunch of mega rich second class clowns or slumdog millionaires as Shaughnessy calls them.

You are going to have to start charging $15 bucks for those ultra select seats if you want a sell out and then MAYBE a BIG MAYBE you’ll be able to fill the stadium but I’m not sure about that    . . . . . . . . . . .    NewYorkers are not that stupid, they are not going to spend $15 bucks on a bunch of second rate wannabes. They have better things to do with their money. And bankruptcy is out of the question.

Bruce4Real

The sports writer goes on to say any of the local colleges would love to go a few innings against this bunch of clowns. He says: “The Yanks are the nail and the Sox are the hammer.”

Oh but the Yanks are working on this new scenario even as we speak   . . . . . . . .    There is no doubt that by game time tonight the appropriate SPIN will be in place.

And Damon he’s so brave; a not so hidden treasure when it comes to personal quotes, listen to him: "They've taken it to us pretty good this year, and we're definitely not happy about that," said Johnny Damon, who has looked at clouds from both sides now. "We've got 13 more against them [12, actually]. Hopefully we'll mix in a win soon."

“Hopefully we'll mix in a win soon.”?  I’m not making this up. First “camaraderie and fun generate winning” and now we are hopeful “we’ll win a game soon.”

What you can’t hit dingers away from Yankee Stadium?  According to Jeets (and his personal stats) that’s a misnomer. Your timing going against your captain stinks.

Bruce4Real

I truly expect the clowns (formerly known as the Bronx Bombers) to come to Fenway wearing some t-shirts (or polo shirts) tonight reading: “spank me but please don’t hurt me.”  Or in a show of solidarity come to the stadium looking stupid I mean wearing some variations of the team official Mohawk. Coke already looks stupid like Brunney that is (“my word is my bond” ).

Wait a second what is that message I can hear coming from every point of the nation? Washington D.C., Florida, Atlanta, Seatle, etc    . . . . . .    I got it: “SEND IN THE CLOWNS.”  Poetic indeed.

Bruce4Real

Ok funny guys enjoy your stay in Foston and enjoy that stinky clubhouse. It’s going to be a long series it seems. And don’t hurry back the Mets (the sux daddies) will be waiting for you and Wright and Delgado and Santos, etc   can’t wait to start BP at the palace.

And don't forget to tell stupid that we’ll have plenty of water coolers waiting for him in the dugout. We’ve noticed he kicks the same way he pitches.

Brief and to the point.

That was not a bad game and if you take Wang’s shortcomings (I sort of knew that he wasn’t back there but what I know? ) you could say it was a good game on the Yanks’ part.

Gutsy all around effort with a defense jewel after an error in RF by Swisher, Hughes was fine, Tex was great (keep spoiling us Tex) and that awesome shot by Damon was for real.

0-7 for the year against the sux looks very bad BUT that’s when Girardi, his coaches and Cash earn their bucks it’s their job to figure out how we are going to neutralize those bats and attack those pitchers, We have touched Papelbon, Beckett, Matsuzaka before and now we touched Ramirez so they are human after all but Girardi and his coaches have to work overtime and OVER time to figure that one out.

Very good analysis about Wang by the YES crew BTW.

C.C. does a great job tomorrow and we’ll be tied again for first place. No reason to despair. I’m still pissed about A.J. for his frigging ATTITUDE and for the captain’s spin that BS doesn’t help the team AT ALL, that’s the point I’m trying to make and I stand for everything I’ve said.

Sleep better and come ready to play tomorrow.

Bruce4Real

Posada on Wang Wed night after the game at Fenway: "I think he's closer to finding it, I really do",  "I still think he's going to turn it around."

That is worth listening to since Posada has a penchant for throwing pitchers under the bus; if Posada says he feels Wang is about to come back who knows Wang any better than Posada? Definitively not the pitching coach or Girardi.

Let’s keep our wits about it.  If Girardi is upset he should be upset with his boss Cash and his third base coach those are the two yoyos I would like to hang on Wang’s temporary failure. I know the Boss wasn’t crazy about Wang (for whatever reason but when did he need a reason? ) but if the Boss was still in charge this third base coach wouldn’t be no more   . . . . . . .     are you frigging kidding me?

Bruce4Real

I’ve read some tabloids’ comments in NY, Foston and the SI unbiased opinion (of course) and they got me convinced: the Yankees are done.

But then I remembered that ALL these publications have always failed to actually understand the game and their predictions have always been off the mark. They are focused on the small details and overlook (by design) the overall picture. The forest from the trees so to speak.

And I was guilty of the same sin thanks to this idiot Burnett (the one whose sole purpose for being here, besides make him very wealthy, was to beat Foston).

Bruce4Real

And their arguments are every passionate (sorry to upset your palate A.J.) and look very conclusive (similar to a well known Yankee player of the infamous 2004 roster) and their conclusion is that for all practical purposes the MLB East Division race is over and the Yankees should take their business elsewhere (another planet or galaxy is preferred) because although both teams have very good lineups and starting pitching the sux bullpen rules.
Bruce4Real

Convenient amnesia is a bit&ch because just a few weeks ago the sux were pinging the proverbial deep oceans of the baseball world up and down in every known latitude and longitude for signs of intelligent relief pitching     . . . . . . . .    SUDDENLY they always had the advantage over the Yankees bullpen-wise. Go f-i-g-u-r-e.
Bruce4Real

If only certain pitcher would have done his frigging homework and would have dominated the sux the way his agent and these frigging know-it-alls in the media told us the frigging nation would be committing collective suicide by now and their faithful followers (read SI and the NY media) would be complaining about the need for MLB to investigate the Yankees unfair advantage over their beloved suc&ks.
Bruce4Real

Guess what? The fun has just began; because even if we lose this game with SABATHIA on the mound (which it won’t happen) the mighty sux will be ONLY a game ahead of us with 102 games to go in the season.

Now tell me ladies     . . . . . .      Do you really think we might have the miniscule probability of forcing a decisive game by season’s end?  LOL

Fair is fair; I’ll wait for an answer until mother earth reverses her polarity.

Bruce4Real

The thought that really terrifies the freak nation is this: despite A.J. turning yellow these here Yankees are only going to get better.  CRAAAAZY.

Bruce4Real

Hey Guys get the hell out of Dodge and come home to the friendly confines of your palatial digs.

Just don’t tell me SABATHIA pitched a GREAT game unless the definition of greatness has recently changed. If you pitch six innings you pitch six great entire innings, if seven you pitch seven great innings in their entirety and so forth BUT giving a cheap HR to a guy that was just resurrected by your buddy the clown two nights ago? That’s not greatness.  You get 3 runs to play with and you get beaten by PEDROIA? No that’s not greatness either.

Swisher needs to relearn how to run the bases smartly but even after that we had them 3 to 1 in the eighth inning.  Ace was forced to come and so did Coke I thought they did well they are not the ones making zillion dollars. They were ok Sabathia wasn’t.

Bruce4Real

I only saw one mistake: GIRARDI ate shiit and changed his mind and left Sabathia in the eighth thereby hurting the team’s chances to win the game better still he should have yanked Sabathia in the middle of that losing battle with his Daddy Pedroia the count at 2-2 would have been the right time.  Mussina and Torre redux? It certainly looked like it. Pitiful.
Bruce4Real

ANYWAY just come home and regroup if we want to catch up with them sux within the next 102 games.

0-8 games series?  Screw that; this is not NFL Football.

The sux played better? Yes but not by much and I don’t care what every pu$$y in the baseball world says those stinking umpires were dirty. They had to be on the take. We just have to come up with bribe money for the next series. That’s all.

Bruce4Real

Congratulations to Melky Cabrera, Pepsi player of the Month for May. A well deserved honor.

Lead the way Melk.

Bruce4Real

Now is a good time to go over what went wrong in the last few games because it didn’t go very wrong you’ve lost some close games in the worse possible way but the sux didn’t exactly erased you from the field regardless of what you might read.  That’s the NY media for you.

I did try to call the attention of the newcomers to this fact but they really chose to believe the hype. Just check the same tabloids that were applauding the new found spirit, the camaraderie, the FUN, the pies etc     . . . . . . .    are the same ones telling you that you are putrid, you’re done, you are not match for the sux because the big picture are the sux, the glass REALLY is half empty.  Yeah    . . . . . . . . .   in a horse’s a$$.

Bruce4Real

I can tell you that these guys who are supposed to  know what they are talking about   . . . . . . .    don’t have a frigging clue just like Swisher didn’t either when he kept telling us that fun in the club house equaled winning. What has he ever won? In Oakland making it to the postseason is swell  . . . . . .     Look around, this ain’t Oakland.
