The only guys who continue to defend this guy’s terrible act are the members of the media who have been to the sole recipients of this guys pearls throwing his teammates under the bus specially some young studs who have been released by the Yanks or who never made it in the Yankees world. Everybody knew he used to kiss Torre’s butt and he also claimed (just like Mo did) that he wouldn’t sign with the Yankees if Torre wasn’t back but that didn’t stop Hank from refusing to call this guy’s bluff and in signing him back Hank did a terrible disservice to the team he claimed he loved.

All we hear from the media is what a great offensive catcher and a great Yankee he is like if Posada was the best bat in the Team that won 4 out of 5 WS titles nine years ago. What about his participation in the team that hasn’t won crap in the last eight years excluding this one? If you are going to take credit for those WS titles then by all means take also credit for those “failures” as someone else likes to call them. His bat wasn’t missed one bit last year or at the beginning of this year when he was out due to –you’ve guessed right- “injuries” and once he was back with the team who’s been clogging the base paths making it impossible for the Yankees to keep more runs scoring (when they seemed to have come to the stadium ready to do battle)? You knew that.
| Bruce4RealPosts: 1681Location: Join Date: November 29, 2007 11:46 PMSend Message | The same person who’s been throwing pitcher after pitcher under the bus. I always knew Posada was the reason behind our misfortunes in the playoffs specially with opposing men on base he turned into a pathetic case of nerves making his pitchers feel so uncomfortable and flawed and if I knew that then Torre and Girardi must have known that too but they decided the Yankees through Hank’s myopia were screwed because they have signed this guy to a bunch of years and didn’t want to look stupid. | |

Guess what? You looked even more stupid when you went out and bought yourselves a bunch of expensive players who can’t help this team because you have this albatross behind home plate and an even heavier and slower runner on the base paths. Failure is again staring you in the face. Theo would have shipped this guy out a long time ago (that’s what makes them a formidable opponent and the type of team and organization they are) this guy would have been gone and all I remember about this so called great bat is that it leaves men in scoring position with no outs or one out over and over and over FRIGGING GUARANTEED and again with that speed of his on the base paths that’s a pitiful act to watch . . . . . . . a DP waiting to happen.

He does a lot more harm with his diminished skills than he helps with his so called offense and HE DEMANDS MORE PLAYING TIME all the time and he states that he won’t play another position period. Because he feels that he's got the Yankee organization by the balls. WHERE DOES THIS FRIGGING GUY GET OFF LIKE THAT? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR US?

I held my tongue for sometime because from Clemens to some of the new comers like Joba and Burnett and people like Pettitte in between they kept saying “Oh that Jorgie? He’s super behind the plate” and I’m sure they did it mostly because they really believe that tools like Lupica (a world class Yankee hater) may have a point when they said Posada was one of the greatest Yankees ever when actually Posada is just one of the guys who decided to hijack this team since the 2001 season and got away with it. And I could read some pitchers' reactions on the mound when they were losing games they were supposed to win while Posada kept ruining their chances by panicking every time someone got on base but I never got a solid proof until now and it comes from the culprit’s mouth and it makes me furious to learn I was right.

Regarding Joba’s most recent bad outing when you saw Joba shaking Posada over and over again to the point of total frustration the Yes crew kept saying that Joba being a rookie pitcher he should listen to Posada or get on the same page with Posada meaning in this case he should throw the game Posada wanted and I’m sure everyone agreed with the Yes crew out of sheer inertia and I almost bought into it but not quite based on my knowledge of Posada’s past. But this is what Posada said about Joba reluctance to throw the game he was calling: "We weren't on the same page," Posada said. "You want him to speed up the game and attack the hitters. It was one of those days where he was wandering too much and I wanted to get him to speed up a little." YOU WANTED WHAT? YOU FRIGGING JERK.

You’re the one who has no idea what getting up to speed means even if it comes and grabs you by your tiny balls. So help me out here I guess the Titanic never got up to speed they went down with a lot less bang that you would have liked. Where are your catching credentials? You are a frigging terrible catcher with the weakest arm and a shrinking pea brain. EVEN MO knows you have been instrumental in some of his loses in the last two years we’ve seen that on HD (although the good captain keeps saying “nobody knows what actually happens behind closed doors in the clubhouse” BULLSHIIT ). The saddest part is that all these details seem to go way over Girardi’s head Hey the guy has a Network show to worry about.

Anybody worth his salt in baseball knows that when a pitcher has problems on the mound you don’t speed up the process JERK, specially a rookie even one as talented as JOBA. You do the opposite and regroup. When you speed up your throws and you have no control over them whatsoever the results usually are catastrophic, case in point Santana's last game, even a great pitcher like Santana has off days and when that happens not even Santana speeds up the process. Your ego has been costing us a slew of young pitchers being slaughtered year after year after year in part because of your INEPTITUDE and in part because of your lack of brains. Now I can positively say that this jerk has been instrumental in our team not reaching the WS since the year 2000 and he's one of the reasons we have even failed to make it past the first round of the playoffs more times than I care to remember. Enough to make you sick.

Of course Lupica and other haters and the media loved him; of course the sux said they would be interested in him: He’s the Yankee haters’ secret weapon, the ace in the hole. What better person to make the Yankees finish on a sad note every year but THE MAIN FRIGGING CATCHER and we didn’t even noticed because he kept us abhorring every single pitcher that came from the minors or as free agents. Our problem WAS POSADA and POSADA the whole time.
| Bruce4RealPosts: 1681Location: Join Date: November 29, 2007 11:46 PMSend Message | You wanted JOBA to “speed up the game and attack the hitters . . . . .” ATTACK THE HITTERS? What a croak! How can you frigging attack the hitters when you’ve lost your stuff and cannot do anything with it because your frigging catcher is calling a terrible game due to his panic attacks (which have seemed to infect Andy even more so now) and insecurity a frigging catcher who’s thinking about his dwindling career more that the team he claims he loves. The more you get after your pitchers to speed up the game when they are lost out there THE MORE YOU SCREW YOUR TEAM . . . . . . Pea brain. | |

You're also terrible at the plate; you are of the most most disgusting hitters I have ever seen; the way you go about destroying the batters box with your stinky ugly spikes every time you come to bat, it is utterly disgusting, no wonder Veritek hates your guts when you are at the plate and it’s not because you are a great hitter but because your manners are disgusting. When I have attended collegiate softball and baseball games that’s the only time when I get really vocal even at the WCWS in Oklahoma City or occasionally the Men WS at Omaha and go after the young men or ladies doing that in the batter’s box and it is always someone who doesn not bring much to the game.

There is no way in the world we are going to win another world series and maybe not even a League championship not while this jerk is catching the Yankees games; forget about those huge signings: SABATHIA, TEX or anybody else for that matter. You have a BLACK HOLE behind the plate robbing the team of all his energy and talent and the will to win. You have an inoperable CANCER in the active roster and you are going nowhere unless you do something about it. The fans come to the stadium to see Sabathia, JOBA, Tex, Arod, Burnett do their thing not to watch POSADA throw those games away as a matter of fact he might be hurting you financially more than by simply cashing his checks and of course you’d never know you are not paying attention . . . . . . . you weren’t looking . . . . . . YOU’VE CHOSEN TO BLAME THE PITCHERS AND SO HAVE I.

I for one will probably stop coming to see any more games (a decision not made difficult by the economy) the mere fact that POSADA is there would make me puke and I suggest other fans do the same until this cancer is eradicated. You don’t believe me? Let the inexperienced Cervelli catch the next few games and then let’s talk about it. A lot of pitchers in recent memory including our latest 20 game winner Mussina always wanted someone else to catch them for A GOOD REASON. WHAT WERE YOU THINKING HANK? WHAT . . . . . WERE . . . . . YOU . . . . . . . . . THINKING?

Why do you think LUPICA adores this guy? Lupica has been one of the Boss biggest detractors for ages a non-stop Yankee hater throughout the Steinbrenner’s era. Since WHEN Lupica had the welfare of the team at heart? E-X-A-C-T-L-Y. Posada has been one of his so called sources in all matters Yankees.

JOBA shaking this guy's frigging signs should go down in history as a huge turning point. Give the young man a lot of credit. WHO DO YOU WANT IN YOUR FUTURE? POSADA OR JOBA? If you call yourself a true Yankee fan or Yankee official THAT SHOULD BE A NO BRAINER. Just make him DH or give him a couple of games a week until Molina comes back the team has performed admirably without Arod and Jeter and Posada the team will survive with Cervelli and Molina’s at bats let the mole biitch to the media let him go play with himself and watch the media go NUTS and ask MLB to investigate the Yankees for whatever reason. Theirs is also a tired act. Lose no sleep over it; just be prepared to tell the NY media to go to the same place the mole will be going and get ready to enjoy beautiful Yankee Baseball . . . . . . . the way it ought to be.

The Yankee Brass should want this team to succeed and help them stay on the black then they should get rid of the hold this mafia has kept the team under since 2001; do something about it and SOON. The Yankee world is watching and we are not going to rest until it is done you can bet on it. You made a mistake with this grifter . . . . . . . eat it and move on. HE IS AN INOPERABLE CANCER. CUT IT AND DISCARD.

The Nationals are coming to town and the experts in the media are telling us that these 3 coming games need to be won because the Nationals are the worst of the worst in MLB. I wonder how many times these sports writers have batted around against the Nationals. They would probably go zero for 5,000 in no time. Yeah we must win those three games, the way the Mets do. WE SHOULDN’T DEVIATE FROM WHAT PAID GREAT DIVIDENDS FOR US (until Posada was dropped again on our lap) and continue to treat every game with great determination and respect. Every game is important none more than the next game. Stay focused guys stay disciplined at the plate and continue to play good defense; EYES ON THE BALL AT ALL TIMES. This is a Major League team not a bunch of triple A players. Underestimate nobody. It gets done one inning at a time. Enjoy the game.
| Bruce4RealPosts: 1681Location: Join Date: November 29, 2007 11:46 PMSend Message | That was a very good game last night specially for Sabathia, Cano, Damon, Teixeira and Pena with the usual help from Brunney and Mo. The Nationals didn’t exactly give the game away during those innings pitched by Martis who kept the Yankees in check. Swisher, Cano and Pena came up with some great defensive moves and Melky had a peerless catch in CF. The Yankees need to figure out why they can’t hit those pitchers they are not familiar with. Whatever happened to see the ball? My take from this is most of these guys are guessing not seeing the ball it is a pity but if that’s the way you win games and if you happen to win more than 96 games this year then you do whatever works for you but Girardi and his coaches get paid to figure that one out otherwise future opponents might be lining up double A prospects who throw strikes (I know Leyland and Maddon will) to face the Yankees in future tilts with them. | |
| Bruce4RealPosts: 1681Location: Join Date: November 29, 2007 11:46 PMSend Message | Sabathia has shown some progress in the last few outings and he seems to be outpacing last year as far as effectiveness is concerned that could only mean the team is going to get better and that’s music to our ears then we have Brunney back from the DL and Arod beginning to make the transition between his own ST and the regular season and we should see this team becoming truly a formidable contender soon. It’s sad that Veras had to be let go but hey it’s not personal is a business decision. We wish him well. |
