         Before my comment s today on 'Clemens vs McNamee  and 'The Start Of Spring Training'

I just wanted to mention that there is another Yankee Talk Back Forum #2 with many excellent posters on it. Just go to the scroll where all the posters go on all the 'Topix' forums'. And when you see a post for Yankee Talk Back, from one of the posters, click on there. That will lead you to "THE YANKEE TALK BACK FORUM"  There are some very die-hard Yankee fans on there, and also sox fans! so be carefull if you root for another team! lol. Trust me, you better be nice !!!!! lol

                CLEMEMS  VS  McNamee  A NEGITIVE STORY WE NEED TO NOW FORGET !!!!

I, like all Yankee fans, are hoping that this Wednesday's congretional hearing which will be with only Clemens and McNamee present, as Pettitte, and the other witnesses are excused. And that is good news for Roger. It will be a hearing that will be under oath, so both must be very carefull in what they say. As they could commit 'Purgery' which is not welcomed very highly by our Gov.

I don't feel there is enough evidence, to prove that either one is telling the truth or lying, so i feel it will come down to an Investigation, which will not only be time consuming, but costly once again, like the Mitchell Report, to us taxpayers.

This is Rogers problem, and in no way should we now put anymore attention to all this back-stabbing between two ex-friends. One who will say anything against Roger to avoid going to prison, and now he is even slandering Roger's wife Debbie. And the other with his Attorneys, trying to ruin the little-left credibility of a former drug-dealer and snitch . With 'Spring Training" in full bloom starting really February 18th all us Yankee fans, need to focus on the excitment of the coming Yankee season, which will be exciting and positive, to say the least. And not the Clemens-McNamee circus which is all negitive.

                                    YANKEES SPRING TRAINING IS UNDERWAY

New Manager Joe Girardi! is so excited to join the rest of the team players, coaches, and i'm sure Owners in 'Spring Training' that Posada, and Jeter said!!! 'I never seen someone so excited to start spring Training in all our years as Girardi is. And he has so much to bring to the Table'

His excitment, and motivation is contagious, and will certinaly rub off on all the other players, and coaches. New Yankee pitching coach Dave Eiland, who was Joba's , Ian, and Phillip's mentor in AAA ball just last year is working the past two weeks to develope the "Dynamic Trio" to be in the Yankees starting Rotation. Today Joba was classified as a Starting Pitcher, and will be under the watchfull eyes of Eiland, and Girardi, and i'm sure the Steinbrenner brothers Hank and Hal. They are putting allot of work into Joba to hopefully start the season in the rotation. And it would be great if he even started opening day !!!!!! WOW!!!!!

In as much as the Media, said recently that the Yankees will have problems in putting three very young pitchers, with little Major League experience in there rotation. I totally disagree with them.

Infact i picked the Giants to win the Super Bowl, while many of these (if not all) sportswriters picked the Patriots to win. And these sportswriters are writing for New York Newspapers. That shows where there loyalty is !!!! hahahha... I know my prediction will be right. With the Yankees three new Youngsters in the Rotation, along with 19 game winner (two years in a row) Wang, and Andy Pettitte's experience!!! They will take us, to win the 'American League Pennent" Then win in the 'Playoffs' and on to the 'World Series' where we will win our " 27 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP"

Legends Field in Tampa Florida, will be full of excitment this spring, with also Tito Martinez working with the Yankee Players, a true former Yankee Star, and all the newer coaches, which will be a carbon-copy of Joe Girardi!!!! The New Yankees Leader. So get prepared Yankee Fans for an exciting 'Spring Training' with many players competing for positions, and the competition will be 'Amazing'  I can smell the Baseball Season, right around the corner. Those 'Hot Dogs'  <

                                       THE NEW AN INNOVATED YANKEE STADIUM 2009

                  The New Yankee Stadium is more then half completed for the 2009 season

The New "State of the Art" Stadium is to hold a capacity of 53,000 people. It is State of the Art in that it is designed with technology that is Beyond 2012. It has all the same features and designs of the original Yankee Stadium, which will be used for park recreations, little league and college baseball, along with sesonal events, Concerts, Charitable events, all types of entertainment shows. So it will stay up and be a backdrop in view of the New Yankee Stadium, only 1/4 of a mile away.

The New Stadium will have swivel comfortable chairs, escalators, and moving ramps, like in airports, to avoid long walks for the fans. The "Hall of Ceremonies" will now be in reaching distance to the fans, unlike the old stadium, where they are in a closed off section in center field. So fans can get a close up of the statues of the "Great Yankee Players

The Stadium will have a covered unbreakable plexiglass walkway surrounding the entire stadium, making it easy for the fans to enter their seat sections, and leave their seats to visit the many "Food Merchants" "Souvenier Shops" and more then 1500 small shops were merchants can sell their wares. Starbucks, and many sit down, outside coffee shops for conversation, and food emporiums that are state to the art, and quick to enter and leave to avoid waiting in lines.

The lighting will be of different futuristic rainbow colors, in the walkway, and the field will have modern lighting, which is unlike any sports arena in the world. It is going to be truly a 'Modern Masterpiece". and very Futuistic in design and emmenities.

Even the many restrooms which will be situation behind every exit to get into the field seats, will make it easy access to the fans, without having to walk any distance. Baby bathrooms will be also available, with all the amenities for mothers to use, to care for their infants.

The Walls in the "Large Covered Walkways" will have many very professional paintings of past Yankee Greats, and a "wall of over 100 feet long will be for all the Yankees so far 26 World Championship Banners, with certain wall drawings of "An Event" that happened in each World Series, that fans will remember.

The "Food Emporiums" were designed, with the Yankee designers going to many arens thru-out the world to get ideas, and to make those ideas more innovated for the "New Yankee Stadium"

Which will be open for the 2009 Yankee Baseball Season

The tickets will be costly, with over 75% of ticket prices under $100, and the VIP Tickets from $150-$300 each. private party sections will have there own waiter, and gourmey food.

So for the average family, with a budget, the ave ticket will be $40.00 with no increase for at least 5 years. Expensive yes! but said to be well worth it, as there will be so much  more available to the family then just the Game played. With Arcades of various games, and shows for the family children. This "New Yankee Stadium" will be truly a "Masterpiece" to visit and enjoy "Yankee Baseball.

                                    WHY ARE THE YANKEES HOLDING OUT ON WANG ?

Wang, the Yankees Ace Starting Pitcher the last two years. With 38 wins, and an ERA in the 3's is asking the Yankees for a long contract like the one Robinson Cano has. Four (4) years. The Yankees want to give him $4 Million for 2008 and that's it, as they say 'pitchers are injury prone, and because he cannot become a Free Agent until 2011 the Yankees don't want to take the risk  I don't see any logic in the Yankees decision, as it appears this will soon go to Arbitration, and then Wang could easily get more then what he wants, four (4) years. And he is acking for 4.7 Million per year.

Also the Yankees are using the excuse that in the two games in the playoffs against Cleveland, he had two very bad outings, with his ERA in the double digit's.

My contention is this !!! Without Wang's 19 games the last two years, the Yankees would not have even made it to the Playoffs !!! And he was the Starting Pitcher that they depended on for the last actually three years, when they needed a Starting Pitcher to 'step up'

So does two bad games, make him not worthy of a four (4) year contract ? No!!! The Yankees have to look at the positive's with Wang !! Not only does he have a devistating sinker, he also reported to Spring Training two weeks earlier (shows how dedicated he is) to work on a chang-up sinker which will add to his four pitch repature. A sinker, low curve ball, slider, and his new chang-up-sinker pitch. He is not a hard thrower like Hughes or Joba, so his chances of getting hurt are less. Then again! the Yankees have no crystal ball, to know who of all the players will get hurt !!! even in Spring Training, and all the Pre-Season games.

I feel the Yankees need to sign him to four (4) Years, not only to make him financially stable, but! to show Wang that he is much appreciated by his success.

Then with that said: You will see Wang have another very effective year, to add to the Yankees very Young Rotation.

In another note!!! I don't know why the Yankees are considering starting Joba, in the bull-pen ??? He was a very effective starting pitcher in AAA, and that is where the Yankees want him to be for the future. Give him a chance first as a Starter, and if Girardi and the new pitching coach, sees that he is having problems !!! Then move him as a late inning closer before Rivera. Not the other way around !! The Yankees sometimes don't use there Talent to what will best serve the team. And with Joba being in the Starting Rotation, the Yankees could be looking at another Becket, at least a 17-20 game winner. By the success he had last year.

I thought the Yankees had newly aquired Hawkins, for Rivera's set-up man, who has proven himself in the past to be very worthy of that position. Plus with all the competition with Young and older proven vets, and all the talent the Yankees aquired in trades, you would think they have enough relief pitchers to fill the bull-pen with excellent pitchers.

Our Problem is in our Starting Rotation, and Joba pitching good, will only influence Hughes and Kennedy to pitch as well !!!! Why is Mussina, in the starting rotation, with all the failure he had last year ? Why are the Yankees putting him before the the "DYNAMIC TRIO" ? You got me, on that. All i saw last year from Mussina, was only a handfull of good starts, all season long. And many games where he was shelled in the early innings, to put the Yankees so far behind, they had to play catch-up ball after he was finnaly relieved.... This to me would be a 'Big Mistake" i'am hoping the Yankees will not do !!!!

I can see every day the "NEW YANKEE TALK BACK" Forum getting more and more visitors. Today it seemed my personal forum, had over 100 more visitors. I was told by my friend of mind from Newsday, that fans, and visitiors usually don't start posting until the regular season is underway !!! Next month. Yet i do encourage all visitors to add their personal view points, on any topic they want in discussion. As this is when we will see other Yankee fans, want to post and add to that Topic. This is when the fun will begin.     

There is allot to discuss, even in Spring Training, and also The Pre-Season games. To see what players you feel will make a starting position, besides the positions that are already locked-up. Like Third base, ss, 2nd base, lf, cf, rf, and catcher. So we are manly talking about who will be the Two (2) only first baseman? The regular everyday one, and the alternate. As there will only be two. This is as many that will be able to, in order to fill the Yankee complete team.

So! instead of just reading the posts, add your comments, and let's get this Forum going !!!! As Topix and Newsday have high Expectations, for many Yankee Fans coming on-board..

                                         LET'S GO YANKEE FANS, START POSTING. AS I HEAR THAT MANY YANKEE PLAYERS COME TO THIS FORUM ! WHICH IS VIEWED BY THE ENTIRE BASEBALL COMMUNITY !! TO READ THE COMMENTS MADE BY THE FANS. WHO KNOWS YOU MIGHT EVEN GET A REPLY, WHICH I HEAR IS VERY COMMON, FROM SOME OF THE PLAYERS. MAYBE JOBA, OR JETER WILL ADD THEIR COMMENT'S TO YOUR POST !!!! THAT WOULD BE SOOOOOO EXCITING... THAT ONE OF THE YANKEES ACTUALLY TOOK THE TIME TO COMMENT ON OUR POSTS, THAT MIGHT BE ABOUT THEM..... Because all the evidence against Roger is all curcumstancial. What it will take Roger to win is this:

1- He must not wavier in any degree on his innocence.

2- He must be more convincing then both McNamee and Mitchell !!!"The Better Salesman"

3- Therefore Roger must be able to sell the Majority of the Committe that he is telling the Truth, inspite of all the curcumstantial evidence, and talk, and testimony by the Mitchell's Report, and by McNamee's testimony !!! As the two IRS investigators, will be in attendance, to hear the evidence !! and give there input to the Senate Committe !!  

4- And most importantly if given the chance, Roger's Attorney's, especially Hardin, must cross examine McNamee   and with all McNamee's past mess-up's and lying habit's. Must destroy McNamee's credibility, to the point of making him look like a chronic lier. And to build Roger's past up, not only his accomplishments on the field, but also all his charitable events off the field as well.

5- Any verbal evidence that Mitchell  ask Roger if it is true! Roger should give one word, and very convincing "NO"   or "YES"  With not a second to have to think of the answer to the question.

6- And to the Press, it was not to Roger's advantage, that Pettitte would not attend !!!! I dissagree !! To me it is like when i was Autitored by the IRS three consecutive years. I wanted to go only by myself, because i didn't want my Accountant to go, who knew nothing about how i do my records.

What i'm getting at! is The less witnesses in the Courtroom, that could screw up with their testimony !!! the better Roger is.

                  GOOD LUCK AND ROGER I WILL PRAY FOR YOU !! BECAUSE WITH ALL YOUR BASEBALL ACCOMPLISHMENTS, FOR ALL THESE YEARS ! THEY SHOULD NOT BE DESTROYED, BY A  SNITCH-LYING FOOL. WHO WOULD SAY ANYTHING TO THE SENATE ABOUT ROGER, AND NOW HIS WIFE DEBBIE, FOR HIM TO STAY OUT OF PRISON.

ONE FINAL THOUGHT !!!!! Just like we seen in the movie "Goodfellas" When Henry was about 15 and he got busted. DeNiro said to him right in the Courtroom !! !!!                          Never          "Rat out your good Friends " So under no curcumstances, i'am hoping that Pettitte did not        "Rat Out" his Idol and Best Friend !!!

                  THE RESULTS OF THE SENATE HEARING ON ROGER CLEMENS WEDNESDAY

As i watced the Senate Hearing yesterday, i could not understand how anyone could believe Brian McNamee with anything he said!!! He has been caught lying to special Mitchell Investigators, not revealing physical evidence (which he claims is Roger's gauge, siringes, tape) and lying about how he overheard, Roger in a conversation with Conseco on the use of HGH/Steriods. At a Conseco Party, that many said, Roger was not even there.

He lied as a former police office, and in a scandal just two years ago. To me he has absolutly no credibility!!!! And no one on a Jury would ever believe him, especially me. If he has recieved no pardon, less a sentence, or just probation for being a Drug Pusher (as he claimed he was not) Then why would he have to reveal Roger Clemens, his buddy and coach??? Did he do it for gaining nothing? In no way !

Then he mentioned he knew that the conversation when Roger called him was taped!! Yet he said he only acted after Roger had that tape played to the media. He said with the mention of his son, in that interview, angered him enough to want to take a more aggressive stand against Roger. Yet!

How more of an agressive stand could he take, holding physical evidence! that was 6-7 years old? Because he didn't trust Roger? What did Roger do toi him, but take him into his home, get aquainted witrh his family, and treat him with only respect. Not to mention the money he earned coaching Roger. So! that to me, is just evidence he fabricated to have more on Roger, to again keep him out of prison.

I was gald to see some of the Senators supporting Roger!! After all &quot;You are innocent until proven Guilty&quot; and really attcaking McNamee for all his past lies, and witrhholding so-called evidence.

And i really was upset that on ESPN &quot;Rome is Burning&quot; and a previous sports interview, with two baseball analist, they had Roger Gilty as Charged, not to be in the Hall of Fame, and also to go into selution, so noone can hear from him.. Such bias opinions !!!! In there feelings &quot;Roger is guilty before proven innocent&quot;

And with Andy Pettitte having remembered conversations with Roger some 8-10 years ago !!!! that is highly unlikely!!! That is so far in the past to remember the contexts of a conversation. And why did Pettitte have to reveal these three conversations to the Senate invesagators in his deposition ??? They were only between him and Roger ?                   THE RESULTS OF THE SENATE HEARING ON ROGER CLEMENS WEDNESDAY

As i watced the Senate Hearing yesterday, i could not understand how anyone could believe Brian McNamee with anything he said!!! He has been caught lying to special Mitchell Investigators, not revealing physical evidence (which he claims is Roger's gauge, siringes, tape) and lying about how he overheard, Roger in a conversation with Conseco on the use of HGH/Steriods. At a Conseco Party, that many said, Roger was not even there.

He lied as a former police office, and in a scandal just two years ago. To me he has absolutly no credibility!!!! And no one on a Jury would ever believe him, especially me. If he has recieved no pardon, less a sentence, or just probation for being a Drug Pusher (as he claimed he was not) Then why would he have to reveal Roger Clemens, his buddy and coach??? Did he do it for gaining nothing? In no way !

Then he mentioned he knew that the conversation when Roger called him was taped!! Yet he said he only acted after Roger had that tape played to the media. He said with the mention of his son, in that interview, angered him enough to want to take a more aggressive stand against Roger. Yet!

How more of an agressive stand could he take, holding physical evidence! that was 6-7 years old? Because he didn't trust Roger? What did Roger do toi him, but take him into his home, get aquainted witrh his family, and treat him with only respect. Not to mention the money he earned coaching Roger. So! that to me, is just evidence he fabricated to have more on Roger, to again keep him out of prison.

I was gald to see some of the Senators supporting Roger!! After all &quot;You are innocent until proven Guilty&quot; and really attcaking McNamee for all his past lies, and witrhholding so-called evidence.

And i really was upset that on ESPN &quot;Rome is Burning&quot; and a previous sports interview, with two baseball analist, they had Roger Gilty as Charged, not to be in the Hall of Fame, and also to go into selution, so noone can hear from him.. Such bias opinions !!!! In there feelings &quot;Roger is guilty before proven innocent&quot;

And with Andy Pettitte having remembered conversations with Roger some 8-10 years ago !!!! that is highly unlikely!!! That is so far in the past to remember the contexts of a conversation. And why did Pettitte have to reveal these three conversations to the Senate invesagators in his deposition ??? They were only between him and Roger ? Wa sit really neccessary to &quot;RAT' Roger Out ? When noone would know about those conversations but just Andy, and Rogher !!!

I feel Pettitte is a hypocrite! acting like he cannot sin! because he will have to face his maker ! So what kind of God loving man is Pettitte, in thinking he has to earn his way to Heaven ? Like he has never lied in his life ? Would he turn in his own son, if it was his son, that was in Roger's place.

I feel Roger will be pardoned, and there is no concrete evidence, to support that he did use Steriods/ HGH. President Bush's Dad a longtime friend of the Clemons family was allauled that Roger was subjecres to all this. And i'm sure President Bush, will pardoned in thne next few days, to avoid Rober haveing to go to trial for alleged purgery. McNamee is the one as a drug pusher who should serve time. But! his excuse was &quot; I only did what the players wanted me to do&quot;

In closing i wanted to add!! That some of the posters on Ynkee Talk back are still running their mouths!!! about me, Thank God, i got off that alleged forum, with just a click of wanna-be fans. If you go on be very carefull what you post!! If it is not what some like ! you will be teamed up on, and i hope to God! not have to be subjected to the same abuse i was.
