REMEMBER, THIS IS A BLOG. NOTHING SERIOUS. POST IF YOU LIKE. THE OTHERS WHO POST ON HERE ARE JUST BLOGGERS. NO MORE, NO LESS. ONE, SLIGHTLY INSANE. NO COLORS HERE.

PAVANO. o.m.g. the biggest loser of all. this is one guy i am sure the yanks will make bets on when he breaks down. the only hope is he gets better, goes to the minors, lights it up and gets traded for band aids. or, a single a player. the next wild news is rogers wife used hgh also. so, the trainor shot here in the backside also?? that would be a good job. where does it end. notice how many yanks in camp, in advance of pitchers and catchers?? not too many in ft myers home of red sox. guess they are looking at the rings. its time for the yanks to get number 27. joe g, will be a little better then clueless. no country club. not at spring training this year. i have been to camp and seen the kiddies work outs. pee wee leagues have harder exercises... .ps, these are all blogs gang. some, write to themselves. feel free to add or ignore...start your own. just do not act like the so called no 1 yank fan. he ain't .

| jimiiyankPosts: 63Location: Join Date: January 27, 2008 3:53 PMSend Message | well, little joe has the yanks running. matter of fact, in one day, they ran more then they did all last spring. about time. any wonder why the group took till june to get it together. at least they should not have the leg problems they usually get. lets see damon come into camp out of shape this year, doubt it...i also feel that little joe will not play favorites like clueless did. jason cannot come in his office and complain. no way. all good things. maybe farnsworth gets dealt this spring...or, maybe joe can help turn him around. so far, no yankee team or management spotted here on the blogs. again, that is what these sites are, just blogs. i hope to drive by legends field sometime next week and watch a few practices. i will go to the intersquad game for sure...i see where igawa had a talk with cash and joe...bet that guy is in the minors and possible trade bait. hey, david wells lost 20 pounds, here is someone to pick up. | ||
| jimiiyankPosts: 63Location: Join Date: January 27, 2008 3:53 PMSend Message | wow, yank players posting on the other forum stunning. this shows the players read the blogs anyway, this should be a great season, and lets hope more players come on here![]() | ||
| jimiiyankPosts: 63Location: Join Date: January 27, 2008 3:53 PMSend Message | yanks play college kids on friday. lets hope they do better then the mets did. they play usf, local tampa college | ||
| jimiiyankPosts: 63Location: Join Date: January 27, 2008 3:53 PMSend Message | Yanks played well against the college kids. they had the starting lineup. not fair. [ PS, THIS IS A BLOG, NO MORE, NO LESS] no crying for "good posters" . joba against college kids was unfair, i think he got to a 2 ball count 1 time. jason looked terrible batting against college kids. in 3 at bats, a force out grounder and 2 weak fly balls. heaven forbid he goes against top pitchers. dying to hear his excuse, oh yeah, he is grinding...i hate that cop out term. Kennedy looked ok and i saw hughes for 1 inning. all 3 kids looked good. big crowd of usf fans. they had their marching band, a flyover and a army parachute team. weather was perfect, 71. on to playing a major leage team next.... remember, this is a fun blog. no begging for anyone to post. if you have the need go to roberts forum as he cries for posters...go yanks | ||
| jimiiyankPosts: 63Location: Join Date: January 27, 2008 3:53 PMSend Message | lying and breaking a promise not cool. the statement "having your back" was a lie. anyway, i swear i recall the " i will not respond to any negative posts" line. ah huh...now, sorry for not getting into yank baseball, just had to rant a second. topix will enjoy reading over 57 posts, via pdf on tuesday.. yank kids a big part of the team. horn and marquez also impressed. hank, do not trade them. these could be our 7th and 8th inning guys..also, olendorf and sanchez. the yanks could have 6 good kids ready now for the bigs. all, pitchers. gardner in center is a version of elsbury of the sox, just not as good a hitter yet, fast and can play d , that is for sure. | ||
| jimiiyankPosts: 63Location: Join Date: January 27, 2008 3:53 PMSend Message | blog report...yanks tie phils, 7-7. yet newsday headline says andy pitches 2 shutout innings in win...go figure..jason has a big day. i am sure that helps...yanks doing well. this will be an interesting spring. | ||

The SMARTEST thing Hank S. did this spring WAS NOT to trade the young kids----much to Boston's chagrin. Hell, let them pay the 'luxary tax' for a while and trade their young players. As a former Motown resident and Tiger fan, I still 'cringe' recallinf the Smoltz trade of the early 80's for a guy--Alexander--who was out of baseball after three years, and Smoltz is still carving out a HOF career. The Mets should be on their knees 'thanking' the Yankees for showing a little common sense!

One of the best things for the current is the PERMANENT absence of the 'laid-back, scowling, water drinking' Joe Torre. Girardi will conduct a better camp/regular season, and hold players accountable and responsible... unlike his predecessor. Torre should forever count his blessings that he 'lucked-up' on the Yankee job (after a sub-.500 NL managing career). He made the expression--"push botton manager", fashionable. I was glad to read that Joe Girardi is once again making 'fundamentals' a part of the game...which we were told that Torre would usher in, due to his NL background. At any rate this season should be a BANNER year! |
