The homeplate umpire gave the Yankees their first run in the first inning by calling a ball to Giambi that was right down the middle of the plate [as the broadcasters remarked], and the first base umpire gave the Yankees a run on balks later on, and still the Yankees lost. What is this world coming to when everyone tries to help the Yankees win, and they still lose?????????
