I think it goes to Marissa Resnick from Jericho. She was the MVP of the Port Washington Tourney. Shes averaging 13.8 ppg. She's got all the talent and shoots the 3 just like her brother (Justin Resnick). Plus, she's only a Sophmore!!!

If you want to see a solid player and a very intense post player check out Alexis Gonzalez from Hauppauge! She's big and pocesses excellent ball handling skills getting her down the floor very quickly. She can block shots and play every position on the floor. Her weakest part of her game is her outside touch but she gets to the hole so much it doesnt show. She's a junior now if she takes the off season to work on her outside shot watch out she'll unstoppable!! Oh by the way, there is no doubt in my mind that she will be the best softball player on Long Island this year. Look out for her!!

Christina Marra (Half Hollow Hills West) - The girl is a great leader, has speed, and an awsome shot from anywhere on the court.  Not only that, but she is also tough.  I watched her come down on her leg the wrong way and she got up to finish the game like nothing happened.  If you get the chance to watch her play, it is definitely worth the experiance.  She is by far one of the best players on the island.

the top player on LI is some one not from jericho....

Prahalis is unreal. Gotta give her the nod in this argument. Cavallo from HB is going to St. Joe's, whose program ain't a lot worse than OSU's. Girl had 37 and 21 to beat Wyandanch in the B game today.

It will..and has to go to Jeanine Aldridge from Massapequa.  If and when she takes Calhoun, then Hicksville, there is no question that it will go to her..Honestly, she may be the most underrated player in Nassau this year (besides possibly Vasquez)..we will see what happens in the playoffs..as anything can..but do not be surprised if Aldridge shocks the county....

Shayna Gatling from Baldwin is an exceptional talent.  Not sure if she is the best on the island, but she is still a junior.

kristen doherty is an amazing player

Crystal Lofton from Hempstead.

She scored 27 and the team she faced <West Hempstead> only scored 21.

She stole the ball well, rebounded, and block shots.

And she did it again outscoring the whole netire Port washington team. They scored 35 and Crystal Lofton had 37! Best player on the island.

 She is a senior

SPORTCRAZE

Check out Breidenback from Northport. Great rebounder and can stop the other teams best forward or center from scoreing.
