Yet - virtually no Newsday coverage. Very disappointing. I think the Chaminade 4x800 finished 5th (qualified as Nike all americans) and the first 2 teams broke the national record. Of course Emily Lipari did great (congratulations!) and there were many other great LI performances. Common Newsday - spare a few words. |

Ward Melville had a girls racewalker, Ashley O'Shea, finish 1st with All-American status and Newsday fails to mention anything!! It is a real shame for these track kids who work hard training all year to go unnoticed. |
