Tucker is no suprise...Last year at divisions he went 23low and 50.  So it took him a year to go that fast again.

LB looks on pace to have a great county meet.  Cuttler went 1:06 in the breast...Corrigan 56 in the fly!!!  But their problem will be the 200, IM and 500.  Jericho looked to fill more voids this weekend.  Kiriazis went 1:07 in the breast and Kevin Cheng went 1:55 in the 200!  Their medley and 200 still have not had a good swim since December.  Can they pull it together 1 time when it counts?  Or will Relays again be the downfail of Jericho (no relays in top 3 last year)

South looked a little sluggish  with some of their swims.  Can it be a hangover from the dominance at Easterns?  Will that hurt them?

4 days to go!

Topswimmer- Any more Corrigan's from Long Beach coming up? How about Nash's? These flyers come out of nowhere. I heard Woody Davis recruited these guys from the Polar Bear swim.

Since when was Cabasino a breaststroker?? 1:01.8!? Think he might challenge One June in a possible 100 breast? Also, what is this reference to the polar bear swim!? Some sort of sarcasm? Looks as if Corrigan split a 24.3 fly and 22.7 free off 200 medley and free relay respectively...Is LB going to sneak two upset relays? If LB wants to win (which seems impossible at this point due to the lack of 500 and 200 im swimmers), smith has to have the diving meet of his life to take 1st and lb needs to be supercharged from start to finish. However, I feel the meet will come out like this:

1. GNS 2. Jericho 3. LB

i heard from a friend @ GNS via facebook that the swim coach (who also, apparently, supervises morning swimming) was quite cranky this morning becuase of the sluggish times at sectionals.

Where are the psych sheet???
NYSSwimfan57

So the psyche sheets are out and diving is finished. Get ready for one heck of a county championship everyone! Wantagh has a 24 point lead as LB has a 21 point lead due to their diving. GNS's divers got cut so they will be receiving no points going into county championships. However, will this 21 point 'cushion' from LB's Smith's diving performance be the factor in deciding who wins the county championship?!? Are Jericho and GNS just TOO deep for LB to handle? Watch for a lot of fast times this weekend because all of these boys are gonna be shaved and tapered for what may be their last meet. Is LB's huge weakness in the 200 free, 200 IM, and 500 free going to hurt them? So many questions, all to be answered tomorrow night and saturday evening. Good Luck to ALL!!

remember the 21pt cushion is only over GNS.  Jericho scored 14pts in diving.  So its only a 7pt difference.  I cant believe GNS divers got cut...maybe the pressure is back on GNS and they are showing signs of weakness?
