County results just came out. I must say the times were very impressive, there were more All-American times than I expected. Both OJC and Cabasino splitting a 20.9 in the 2 free relay and OJC going a 46.0. If Section 8 was a bit deeper, I would say they have of beating Section 5 or 6 for the state title.

GNS winners as I predicted-just not in every event. OJ had a great meet. Look for us to make a statement at the States- watch out Shenendehowa! I wish OJ would have swam the 50 that would have been a great race against Cabasino. All things being equal the Nassau Division is a division to watch out for. Cerra Spinella Kawalsky OJC Mo Chang Cabasino Lennon Ching. States here we come

As always GNS fan forgets the accomplishments of the Jayhawks.  You have seem to forget, that although they didnt win, Jericho still had 2 kids qualify for the state meet.  Solomon went 55.7 in the back and Alex Wu  went 22.4 in the 50.

Yeah that was quite a meet. Will OJC break the county 100 free record? Or will Cerra break the 200 IM county record? Will Cabasino break the 50 free county record? So many questions yet to be answered. We have one more month to see what these guys are really made of. Congratulations to all swimmers and teams on their performances this weekend, it was amazing to watch! Get ready to make some noise in another month, it is truly going to be a state meet to remember. Hey does anybody know what GNS is doing at states? Are they going 2 relays/2 individuals? Or LB's style of last year of 3 relays/1 individual?

what did Ching qualify in?

I don't think GNS will gun the 200 medley relay. they're top 8 in the state, but i think the team will be better off putting OJC in the 200, 100, and the 2 and 4 free relay. They have a real good chance of winning states in the 2 and 4 free relay.

Don't be surprised if Wagner bests both OJC and Cerra at States.

Wagner was 45.9 in the 100F and 151.12 in 200IM at CHSAA champs today

At the county meet the annoucer kept saying that GNS has qualified all 3 relays, and that each member will represent GNS in the states on the relay.  So my guess is that GNS will adopt the LB style of 3 relays and 1 individual event.  As good as GNS and their coach is...what LB did last year was amazing.  I know OJ will split 45low but can the rest truly go under 48?  Thats what it will take to break LB's and the state record.  As for the 2free....dont sleep on LB.  Woody Davis has an amazing way of getting his sprinters to pop.  They went 1:29 this weekend and go very easily go 1:27....

OJC is going to win it all . GNS will win the states!

GNS rebel do you even swim?

Again Newsday shows its incompitence....Jericho was not the 2008 champs, LB was.  And if GNS finished last in the relay then Jericho NOT LB would have won the meet.  Jericho only lost by 30pts.  That has to be the one of the best county meet in Nassau history

Thanks for the love. It was a rough loss for us. And our coach checked it was the closest county meet in history. we lost by exactly 30 points. and according to the psych sheets we were losing by 70+.
