Topic: Suffolk County Boys Swimming

At Senior Mets this weekend, several of us in the stands were remarking how stunning it is that NEWSDAY does not cover Suffolk County Boys Swimming, especially considering the excitement following the Olympics.  We had some very exciting races at Leagues and at Counties.  How about that crazy race between Zach Coleman and Al Catano?  Wow.  How about the story that SayBayBlue was slated to win Leagues, but didn't.  Wasn't reported.  How about Al Catano qualifying for Junior Nationals this weekend?  Recently NEWSDAY listed winter sports with who was leading what sport and swimming wasn't even included.  Bowling was and should have but where was swimming after Sports Illustrated named Michael Phelps athlete of the year?
