I was fencing at Manhasset once.. omg i was sliding all over the place you cant even lunge, or fence well for that matter. anyone who has good foot work knows what I mean..... Anyway.. I really liked the strip Jericho had. It was a grounded Roll out strip, so its easily transportable and I felt the traction was fantastic. I cant stand wood floors anymore! Or oiled lenolioum AHHHHHHHHHH

Now, what does happen when a school's admin says...NO. I've heard according to section VIII all schools participating in a sport must have the ability to host(with exception track or swimming I suppose). So, take a school like Manhasset, have they won this year? The boys don't even have a full squad. I give em all the credit in the world stepping out on the strip every week though. Still, the question remains; does a district want to spend the 5 or 6 thousand dollars for strips on a team that isn't that good or popular? Hey from my own experience in high school the board almost wiped out track to put in Lacrosse. So, what do we do...We win the Championship!!! Ha!! Cut the program now!!! Tha Jericho strip is nice, but, someone needs to stand on it at either end to keep it from pulling and bunching up in the middle.
