What happened to Collins this year? He was #1 All long Island last year for Nassau. Had him #1 in my high school fencing fantasy draft, lol. I know he's got the juice, but, hitting the wall this year. But, hey his team is sure got it together this year. 10-2 going into the quad meet. | |

Who are the most EXCITING Foil's to watch in each county Considering Brentwood (de facto LI Individual Championship), All County/All LI Honors, Counties, JO Qualifiers ( not a hs event but relevant none the less)...and how they did one on one. It's pretty clear Top 3 Suffolk Boys - Holmes Sullivan Murphy/Petrie tie Top 3 Nassau Boys Szilaygi Healy Pauley/Zheng tie
Top Three Suffolk Girls* Siskidis Antipas ?? Top three Nassau Girls* Jin Szilaygi Gong * Not necessarily in this order This is not meant to cause an argument.Given the nature of this board, I am afraid to throw out these names with fear that people will belittle these hardworking kids. We should support and applaud them all. LI fencing is finally starting to b recognized nationally (a little). Many of these fencers are young and should only improve. Let's be competitive but supportive.
