We are just ever so proud of how hard each and every girl played tonight. You girls were smiling leaving the HS this afternoon and you were even happier coming back home. Keep it up on your way to Hofstra!

Northport did an excellent job this year and they are not done yet. These girls are wonderful individuals and I have to say that working at the HS and knowing a few of them they are just the best. I am just so proud of all of you.

actually........for your information north shore in class C for lacrosse........and unlike garden city, north shore has an array of athletes who participate in track, softball, ect. so when there aren't 100 lacrosse girls to chose from it limits how far you'll go, but north shore is going far this year they have an amazing team from what i've seen...........and KAELA mcgilloway is a sick player i've watched her before......
Last time I looked, Garden City softball was 15-7 while North Shore was 4-16, and in track Garden City is undefeated (as is North Shore), so don't think that the Garden City-North Shore lacrosse results are because good athletes in North shore are being siphoned off to track/field and softball and a similar siphoning is not occuring with your competitors.

Where does someone get the right to call a person who works hard at their game to get in team role of being a scorer selfish? Would you rather have a great player hold back and not score at all and the team ends up losing the game? The worst feeling after a loss of a game is what could have that player done better? Yea yea the game was pretty blown out in proportion but it's still the point of calling any player selfish.

Many these girls are looking to play at some of the top D1 schools and if you like it or not, stats matter. Jenny is farrrr from a selfish player...if you know her, you know that! They lost their other top player to an injury so she might have scored 10, but I beg they were 10 deserved and pretty goal. Jenny...stay ...enjoy your Jr. year and keep scoring!

Against a team that lost their only other game 20-3. I thought this player would have at least tried to set up some of her teammates? 0 assists. I guess it is true what they say about high school sports. There is no such thing as team play.
