maybe it's me but I gotta believe that something is wrong when one girl is scoring ten or more goals a game. . everyone is being very diplomatic but aren't the other girls on the team allowed to score or are they just supporting players there to watch the show. nothing wrong with having a big game but spreading it around shows character and develops the others.

The rules need to be modified. They modified the sticks a few years back and now it is much easier to keep control of the ball. The rules need to be changed to allow some defense.

the ability to score is fine and the modifications made seem to improve the pace and excitment but I would agree modifictions to allow less restrictive checking would improve the defensive efforts. It just seems the other girls on this team have been reduced to a role of being a spectator. 13 goals the other day... come on.. pass the ball to others. they absolutely must be open.

Maybe when the game is modified to allow them to play some defense this will change... put helmets on them and let get it on.......

i can't help but disagree that putting helmets on girls is a bad idea. The rules for checking have already become less efficient due to the goggles. if they want the girls to wear helmets, they might as well make them wear all gear.

I started out watching boys lax so that is my bias, but I think the game would be far more exciting to watch if the girls put the gear on and played a hard game. Girls basketball and soccer don't hold back and those girls have no gear on.
