Shoreham has a few, even though they don,t get a lot of time, yet, but they'll be making their mark. So does Rocky Point- they have a younger kid who I saw play short & long pole. Rotanz & Boller have kids that will be up & coming...I think we are in for a good future of Lacrosse in the coming years.

Watched him in a loss to Conetquot, he was outstanding. Fantastic Outlet passer and good hands, just needs the Npt Fans to back off and stop telling him and the D what to do.

Mount Sinai soph. defense does it again 8-6 over Rocky Point, 5.6 goals against average. McPartland and Stroh shut down the vaunted RP attack. Who cares. Anybody can beat them. I went to watch that game, Rocky Point is nothing. They won't make it past the first round of the playoffs. Their goalie is barely adequate. He couldn't clear the ball at all. None of them could. Their offense is horrible. The Palasek kid does nothing. All you have to do is put someone on him man-to-man and he folds. He either tries his "wrap, which everyone knows , or stands on the crease waiting for the ball. His brother isn't there anymore to feed him, so he's done. The other attack, # 23 is worse. He does less than anyone . Just stands there, doesn't move without the ball, just tries to get a pass and score. He's horrible. Usually winds up losing the ball, then cries about it. The other two who went in & out were no better. The middies look like tired horses. They are always playing chase, and when they gt the ball just try to shoot. Wild shots from way too far out, and usually right at the goalie. Easy pickins. The face off guy is good, but a real ball hog. Wins it , runs down straight at the net and shoots. No team play in his mind. One time he tried to go thru 4 guys. Team player, I think not.He stunk on defense too. A waste of what could be a real talent. The only guy who hustled is 25, I feel sorry for him, being out there with those other kids. All his efforts go to waste once one of the middies gets the ball. The defense kept them in the game for as long as they could, but then even they got tired. Cuts right down the middle, nobody picking up anyone from outside. Easy way to score. I don't get the coaches strategy. Play the same guys all game, and let them get pounded. No subs , but just let the same guys do the same thing over & over. Shoot and lose the ball. No passing, no movement. Pathetic. I know some of the kids on the bench. They're just dying to get out there & play. But it's not going to happen. They have at least one real good defensive guy, two or three good middies and attacks wasting away, watching . They would probably at least make an effort, more than what 's out there. It's a shame. And don't expect anything different next year. These guys are juniors , so they'll be back playing the same 'me ball" again. Sad to see a good program die.

Just in case you're wondering.. they only beat us because Brunet left after a "questionable" hit, and we got a little rattled. Otherwise we would have picked them apart . It won't happen again. The only team out there is SWR. And don't ask about Sayville. They are not even close. just cheap ,and dirty. Everyone who plays them says the same thing. If you just go out & play team lacrosse, you can beat them, just like we did.

Led the Varisity team in scoring last year as a freshman. Don't think he needed an edge. The sounds of jealousy. Gamblin has a late birthday. By example: The Hicksville goalie is a Jr. and is almost a whole year older than Gamblin. Now Gallaso is a better example of an edge. Gamblin will start college at 18 years of age. Gallaso will start college at 20 years of age. Know your facts before you throw things around.
