There were no try-outs just submit an application and a check for $70. How were the teams picked? If you are referring to the Shootout traditionnally held at Heckscher at the same time as Battlefields, its by HS coaches recommendations. | |

Coach Baccarella showed a complete disregard for the young men who were told that they were accepted, then later dismissed with a form letter. Bob K. West Islip Coach Deeks did the same thing to a couple of players last year. It's shameful & unforgivable behavior. |
