sorry I don't trust si because they just started covering lacrosse. go to si.com/rankings.go to the top 100 high school lacrosse players in the nation.there are only a few long island players on it.the rest of the country has caught up. i rest my case half of the top players in the country came and are coming from Strong Island! | |

Yes other parts of the country are slowely catching up but, for long islands size it is still the most dominant in the sport. You can't find any other place in the country as small as long island that domates a sport the same way. Just look at the Under Armour all american roster, the entire north team is from NY/LI | |
