Bay Shore Boys never get any press or photos.  For a young team, they are doing better than anyone expected after graduating 4 d-1 players.

What is your SAT Score? I was referring to Duke, Manhattan, Fairfield and Holy Cross. You see the clue would have been that schools was plural. But I know you just want to have the last post all over the place.

Let me say it again a little slower---D U K E,  H O L Y  C R O S S   , F A I R F I E L D,  &       M A N H A T T A N,  oh by the way, the starting goalie at NAVY is a BAY SHORE grad.  All excellent schools.

Thank you Shotstopper....  I am also sure that he will want the last word.

bay shore doesnt have many quality wins plus they had 10 goals scored on them in the first quarter vs west islip.  They don't seem to be a contender with the top teams in that division.  Also if those 4 d-1 seniors were so great why didn't bay shore do any thing last year?

To bkburton1: I fail to see the need for you to make comments on every thread, mostly negative.  At some point you will grow up. You seem to be a Ward Melville Student. Do you play or are you the team mascot?   Link

FYI Bay Shore made it to the second round of play-offs last year, losing to Ward Melville in a very competitive game.  It is very difficult to compete with power house teams like Ward Melville and West Islip as you well know.

Just remember that the Stickhead team is split between Islip and Bay Shore, so it will be interesting to see what these talented boys can do in the next few years on both teams.

you have no facts to back yourself up! coach cox is producing kids like

jensen-manhatten starting attack

baglio-fairfield middie

flood-holy cross attackmen

rock-walk on to duke 3rd string***

and to further your inquiry bayshore has and will keep producing kids like the following.

matt baglio-fairfield

joe & mike baglio-quinapiac

matt malakoff-notre dame attackmen

matt coughlin- starting goalioe at navy* (ncaa contender)

c.j. leary- 4 yr. starter for dowling  won a ncaa championship ( j.v. coach)

mike tierny- hofstra middie (varsity coach)

chris demarco-defense stjohns

and to add insult to injury don't beef up islip stickheads. charlie gargano a starting defender for bay shore has played great as well as the starting bayshore goalie john flood who has been superb with 118 saves in goal. what about their starting attack! drew motchweiller gary guinta and chris sweeney one of the most athletic and able bodied attack in div. 1 and comprised of 3 juniors

What "MrStick" meant to say is: Please excuse my ignorance, I'm have absolutely no positive input about anything and am nothing but a nuisance to everyone. As my head remains in my "Bottom" (not the word I want to use but you get the point) I will continue to make rude, ingnorant comments that just prove my lack of intelligence in all subjects including lacrosse.

___________________________________________________________________

My take on this subject: Bay Shore is a rising program that has produced some fine athletes in the past and current athletes that have promising potential, though their record does not always reflect their talent,  it is still quite an accomplishment to obtain their level of success against the teams that they play. Is Bay Shore a Ward Mellvie of West Islip?, no but then again not many teams can say they are. Bay Shore is a good team, that really doesn't get the recognition that they deserve.
