They had an 8-6 league record and yet a 6-8 Northport team made it over them. What a sad ending to a great season those boys put up. I dont know if we'll see a strong and fierce Whitman team like that for a while.

I guarantee you that if whitman had the same schedule as Northport they'd be 2-10. Northport is a decent team, they just got a high preseason seed because of their past greatness.

How can you complain..Whitman lost to Northport 10-5..Maybe if Whitman didn't get beat by a 3-11 team their last game they would have had the power points to get in.

They're only real lose from this year is Zakow, Whitman will be even better next year.

I think the program is getting better and they are starting to follow what all the better programs are doing by having their kids play summer league together. Lacrosse is starting to look like all these travel baseball teams..More MVP's coaching these teams (according to them anyway) then there are in the MLL. Just what we all need more fat balding guys trying to make sure their kid plays so they become a coach without having a clue.

They slipped into the 13th spot before that game anyway. They should've won that game but a few mistakes coaching and playing kept them from it. I'm suprised they made any mistakes coaching actually considering they have about 15 parents/coaches in the stands every game. They're losing probably their best coach next year but have high potential.

Athletic Director is the worst in the land. Dirctor is a puppet to the parents.

Look for the program to go south after they lost the defensive coach with the best crudentials.

Even though they had a winning record (first time in 8 years), they had so much talent that one could have thrown a five year old in the coaching spot and he could've done better. If that team has any success in the future it'll be on the players part, not the current coaching staff.
