| #8fromHempsteadPosts: 4Location: Join Date: November 2, 2008 6:09 PMSend Message | see i did exactly what you guys said and im still not on that list i dont care what any one says but newsday is favorite to one or 2 people from hempstead and thats it. It all starts back with football i lead the island in tackles and didnt make all island but i made all state they didnt even give me second team. And along with that i was runner up for the piner and didnt make the outback team so i jus wanted to show everyone else and prove to everyone else that newsday and all of its writers dont do anything according to true skill besides a few like the palasek and Gallaso's and such .. They do things according to favorites and that definitely isnt right. And i Hope all of the bloggers for high school lacrosse and Football See this cause its a shame and they are all a joke. | |
| FriarsfanPosts: 62Location: Join Date: September 6, 2008 8:20 PMSend Message | Not sure what you mean? The above list is a newsday list of Long Island commited seniors that includes many Saint Anthonys players. They are missing Burk (defense)from Saint Anthonys going to Army. Juniors that are commited from SA are Schreiber- Princeton,Schroeder- Navy, and another junior commited to Siena last week. Most are still in the process visiting schools between games and practice.

Sometimes it does take more than one e-mail to NEWSDAY before any action is taken. I think you should forward them your original e-mail, so they know it's your second request. And Jesse, don't let the politics of LI High School Sports get you down. Your accomplishments speak for themselves. Best of luck to you this LAX season & at Adelphi. | |
| #8fromHempsteadPosts: 4Location: Join Date: November 2, 2008 6:09 PMSend Message | thanx bro i appreciate it but its a little disheartening to know that they portray themselves to be for everyone but in the end you see they send a message that the only dudes that matter are the ones going to hopkins and virginia. But thanks again and i hope u have gud luck wth ur future plans as well | |
| beatricebkpjPosts: 1Location: Join Date: February 17, 2008 10:19 PMSend Message | Jesse, Are you a senior or have you committed as a junior? I believe this list is for the Class of 2009 only. If you are a senior, you should write again. I'm sure it was an honest mistake. Good luck to you. | |
