Whats up with the list of state top ranked teams? I know of a team thats undefeated in their league & has beaten two of the top teams ......1 in a scrimmage- (I know it doesn't count) and 1 in a regular league crossover game. Great job sports writers.. I guess it's not how you play but who your name is and what your team was about last year.

 When you think about it, these rankings are worthless.  How many games are the sportswriters actually seeing in the area they cover?  Do you think they really know anything about teams in other parts of the state.

Still, it is nice to see a team like Mepham finally get some of the recognition they deserve.

Isn't the Bay Shore coach the person in this area that gives them the information needed??? Like last year when his pitcher (a nice little HS pitcher) won player of the year, how do you think that happened??? Smell the coffee, Lord McGowan calls all the shots.
