| hsbaseballscout3810Posts: 20Location: Join Date: April 13, 2008 11:16 PMSend Message | Riverhead's thirdbaseman #10 and shortstop #7are both solid players #10 is solid on the hill and shows tremendous power at the plate, #7 throws gas probuably about 85 mph as for kings park #3 the shortstop and #7 centerfield both have great bats and hit the crap out of the ball, and the first baseman is solid at first and on the hill i'd say KP JV may go 21-0 once again | |

Both #7 and 10 from riverhead have tremendous potential. 7 does top out around 85-86, hes got a hose but dosnt have the greatest mechanics so 86 as a sophmore with bad mechanics can turn into something special down the road. 10 drops bombs.... beastRiverhead's thirdbaseman #10 and shortstop #7are both solid players #10 is solid on the hill and shows tremendous power at the plate, #7 throws gas probuably about 85 mph as for kings park #3 the shortstop and #7 centerfield both have great bats and hit the crap out of the ball, and the first baseman is solid at first and on the hill i'd say KP JV may go 21-0 once again

dont sleep on riverhead's first baseman #12, hes a big stick in their lineup. Im looking forward to see Riverhead next year with all the depth coming up from jv, not to mention the sophmores that are already on varsity.

are they loaded up with sop****res or freshman? Any juniors getting playing time on JV? All of that can skew a JV record.

YOU, are nuts. You obviously have not seen KP play.
| Suffolk08Posts: 6Location: Join Date: April 19, 2008 12:08 AMSend Message | Hills West has a mediocre JV team. They played Newfield today in NL game, and there was nothing special shown by hills west. It was only until the left fielder made an unforgivable error, which gave hills west the lead to win. To bad there was 4 errors and that brought the players out of the game from there. Coaching mistakes, nothign can be done. Pat Med, and Newfield | |

Riverheads Jv has a few sophmores, no juniors and is loaded with freshman, varsity starts about 3 seniors, a few juniors and a few sophmores, and even has a freshman who gets some playing time. are they loaded up with sop****res or freshman? then they will be good. they are a true JV team. A lot of coaches use the JV for extra work for their guys who aren't playing. It makes the JV have an artificially good record (as though it really counts for something). thanks for the info.
