Hey Guzman didnt you learn your lesson on the Boys of Summer site by posting your kids name on there all the time? I hope for his sake the people on here are more civil than the folks on the BOS guestbook. I'm not the dad but I do know who he is. I didn't know he was a tout for his kid. I've seen that whole group play since they were 11 or 12 with the brentwood chiefs. I was shocked when I heard that they folded before the u14 season last year. I was always curious what happened to the other guys on that team. I thought that guzman would have ended up at St. Johns or something. There is another guy named Torres who is on St Johns JV. They had a really fast lefty who I think is from Syosset. I don't know what happened to him. They also had a guy who played second base since his Williamsport days who played without his right hand. good kid. I hope he made their JV. One of their pitchers was cut as a freshman from another school district. I guess you answered the question for me. It is him. I gotta check out that BOS guestbook. | |

| LIBaseballDadPosts: 13Location: Join Date: March 30, 2008 9:18 PMSend Message | The 2 biggest touts on here and on BOS are Guzzman and Stroman, even though sometimes it's obviously Stroman himself posting. Stroman doesnt need to be touted by I guess when you are the best you can blow your horn a little. Guzzman is good but has in no way proved himself yet the way Stroman has and he will never be the player Stroman is. | |

It's Steve Skon, he 's a 9th grader. He does play football also, QB i believe- I think he filled in on the varsity team when the starting QB got hurt this year. He does have a younger brother, his name may be Kenny(i'm not sure). For a 9th grader to be hitting over .500 in League 1, with power- that's impressive to me. |
