| ImThatDude25Posts: 6Location: Join Date: March 23, 2009 2:21 PMSend Message | I was at the Glenn v. Southampton game yesterday and it seemed like southampton wasnt playing to their full potential. This thursday will most likely be the game that determines the series because glenns third pitcher isnt as dominant so the southampton offense should have no problem getting hits. | |
| nyyankees675Posts: 117Location: Join Date: March 2, 2009 5:11 PMSend Message | wouldn't that make the second game of the series the deciding factor since Glenn won the first game and Southampton has a huge advantage the third game? | |
| TheFlyingTomatoPosts: 73Location: Join Date: March 5, 2009 5:36 PMSend Message | that's what he said | |
| nyyankees675Posts: 117Location: Join Date: March 2, 2009 5:11 PMSend Message | you are correct, I misread what he said. I am surprised no one is really talking about this series, this is the biggest series for this league | |

Glenns offense will be shut down and who ever they decide to throw will be hit hard. Southampton will take the league and be crowned leaugue champs. Also the game today will most likely be decided by small ball and speed which niall wood has plenty of. The Cannon!
| TheFlyingTomatoPosts: 73Location: Join Date: March 5, 2009 5:36 PMSend Message | today's glenn sh game was decided by the long ball both pitchers (antilety, laufer) were on fire mad k's even those umps zone iffy home run by massa wins it | |
| nyyankees675Posts: 117Location: Join Date: March 2, 2009 5:11 PMSend Message | It certainly was an entertaining game. Now the question remains will Glenn relax mentally since they won the series and will Southampton take advantage of their tremendous starting pitcher advantage? | |

Both teams are making the playoffs regardless because of this wimpy division, this series was for seeding purposes.

| nyyankees675Posts: 117Location: Join Date: March 2, 2009 5:11 PMSend Message | Im not saying its a good or bad thing that you support their squad, I am just pointing out that you do. I am also curious to know if you are a player on the team because there are a few players from Babylon and Southampton on the boards but none from Glenn. | |

| Linz4344Posts: 1Location: Join Date: May 1, 2009 2:15 PMSend Message | I heard the homerun hit off Josh Laufer was a terrible popup that floated with the wind over a 275 foot fence, and that nobody could touch him. | |
| nyyankees675Posts: 117Location: Join Date: March 2, 2009 5:11 PMSend Message | it does not really matter how it looked, a home run is a home run. Obviously most people are not going to touch laufer, he can dial it up to around 90 and has a filthy slider. He is beatable though (be selective and drive up his pitch count is one good way to do it) | |
| lisports003Posts: 35Location: Join Date: December 9, 2008 6:37 PMSend Message | haha nyyankees why do you hate on the glenn coach so much..it looks like hes doing fine so far leading his team to 15-1 | |
| nyyankees675Posts: 117Location: Join Date: March 2, 2009 5:11 PMSend Message | Let's just say Glenn could have gone a lot further the past two years without his incompetence. |
