for all you guys who said escobar doesn't strike out much and can hit..glenn had 2 scrimmages so far and he went a whopping 0-7 with 6 k's they versed smithtown west and northport
glenn's prized third baseman is off to a great start! But they are scrimmages so it doesn't mean much yet. | |

Yeah so.. That dont mean they good or anything...who day best hitta.. they aint got none? Look at day record from last year... U playas from sh love talking about your selves on the message board.. saying how good you guys are going to be because you guys practiced a little bit in the off season but aint gone happen.. who yo best pitcher u aint got no lights out ace the team actually has three above average pitchers not like massa though | |

lisports, nyyankeed....your both tools. you have been hating on the poor kid since people started talking about him, i have not seen him play in a while, but i spoke to him today, he did not go 0-7, he went 0-4 with 1**** strike out and 2bb's....get your facts straight........and its glenn and southampton going for the league. no one else competes.....SH-chris pike, rich weskofskhi** sorry dont know how to spell it, GLENN-mike massa, brian escobar and the pitcher going to cw post. The post pitcher's name is Josh Laufer, and yes, those two will compete, along with Mattituck for the division, but glenn will win it hands down. If you read my statement, I said that spring training doesn't mean much, everyone is shaking off the rust. I do not "hate" on anyone (I guess thats the term nowadays huh?), I dislike when people are hyped up. The coach over at glenn thinks he is flat out amazing, which is an unbelievable thing to think or say without ever seeing the kid play. I guess that is just the way things are today, to hype everything up. Again, to recap, I have no problem with Escobar or any player on any team unless they are using steroids, or really anything that cheats the game. My main problem is with the coach of Glenn, and some other coaches on the island as well. They need to shutup, and let the kids decide who plays. What I mean by that is the players have to earn playing time, by playing well in practices and being a good teammate and earning both the players and coach's trust. I think that the kids often times would run the teams better than the coaches. They know the players better than everyone else: they usually have played with each other their entire lives, seeing their best and worst performances, and simply knowing what they can do. I wish nothing but luck for all players everywhere and hope that everyone enjoys the upcoming season. | |

killacross your weak and the team you play on is weak. Southampton is comin through this year and Massa sucks he has nothin on SH staff.
