yea they should. They said a lot of inappropriate things to the other team, and tacked on runs when the game was clearly out of hand. Classless, but I expect nothing less from a team run by a coach whose head is shoved far up his @ss
who cares..its part of the game and this isn't little league anymore bud you sound like a typical baseball mom that complains about every little thing that happens..suck it up

hahahah it was a tournament and if everybody was saying my team was over rated i'd wanna beat every team by $hitload of runs too just to shut the critics up..

I do not attend games now, they aren't meaningful until the playoffs What difference does it make if I played or not, sportsmanship is the same for all sports, no matter what you play If your so offended by my post clearly you must be from Glenn, so I take your comments with a grain of salt.

Like the guy said, hitting the ball hard and keeping up the intensity is one thing, but to steal and bunt etc. is just classless. Even leaving in the starters when the score is out of hand is pretty low. If the backups were beating the other team badly and running up the score, while avoiding embarresing things like hit and runs, then power to that team. Granted I was not there and know little about that game, but it seems from liyanks that the score was runup through more than just hits, then thats just dumb. A wins a win, so why run up the score? to prove a point?

like i said before..if everybody was saying my team was over rated like there saying glenn is..i would run up the score too so im guessing it was to somewhat prove a point..and i was at that game and glenn has about 3 players on the bench when they're in the field so they cant really take all there starters out..and i don't recall glenn stealing and bunting towards the end of the game..i did actually hear the coach tell his players to stop stealing so i don't know what nyyankees is talking about..

| SuffolkBaseballObserverPosts: 54Location: Join Date: March 28, 2008 10:13 PMSend Message | Some coaches like to throw their Shortstops on the last game of the week. That way their arm is not sore all week after pitching. On a normal week Pike will throw Friday and have 3 days or his arm to recover for SS play on Tues. That is just a guess though. | |
| strikethree24Posts: 1Location: Join Date: April 5, 2009 8:44 PMSend Message | don't take bayport as a joke. They have 2 juniors who throw fire and know how to pitch. Glenn is good but not great. Southampton is also good. The league is far from a joke. | |
Zombie-Lord Posts: 7Location: Join Date: April 2, 2009 11:34 PMSend Message | Yes, the league is far from a joke, but in the end, the true running will be between Southampton, and Glenn. Southampton a stacked lineup with a good staff and explosive bats. They can hit lasers. Glenn has massa and another kid who apparently throws mad heat. They too always have a pretty solid squad so it will come down to those two teams in the end. |
