V-Ball players who want to continue playing in college. I heard from a connection that a new DII conference may be starting up down South next year. Good news for guys like my son who wanted to keep playing even though there are not alot of college teams. If you want more info go to this site to contact me

It's a great service for any male or female high school student who needs help to be placed in a sport, tutored, or get into the college of their choice. John is one contact for future student athletes. No fees for info on site.

The D2 conference is in the Carolinas. D2 is in same category as D3 for mens college volleyball. Will be 5 teams next spring, and at least 6 the following. Some of these schools will travel out of conference to play west and north, including teams like Penn State and Ohio State. There is also at least one new D3 team starting upstate NY. The previous post should have said D2 is the same D1 in mens college volleyball, NOT the same as D3

Surprised It's official as I posted before. See the link below. There's a new v-ball conference down south. One more team to that conference, and as mentioned in the article, the NCAA championships would probably expand to 8 teams. Exciting news for guys like my son playing down there next year.
I imagine the addition of sand volleyball might allow equal funding for mens volleyball for future conferences. I think we can thank the gold medal team for some of this interest. But I believe I read there was about 28% increase in boys HS teams nationwide also has something to do with it over the last few years.

If anyone would like help in being recruited for these schools, please contact me at johnebb@iwon.com
