Looks like we are focusing only on goal scorers and not game makers.  Keep an eye on Anthony Lubrano.  He is probably one of the best players in Suffolk County.  Being a goal scorer is not the only thing in soccer.

In Nassau County, players you should keep an eye out for in the bigger conferences are..Jimmy Nealis, Paul Ferrandino, Ahkeel Rodney, Aaron Dennis, Stefan Brossard, Tyler Arnone, Josh Haberman, Jon Velasquez, Justin Corke, and Billy Wasserman (the last two are goalies). In the smaller conferences keep an eye out for..Xavier O'Connor, Nico Capetola, Alexis Duran, Matt Slotnick, Vic Muntean, Joey Pinto, Stephan Barea, and I'm sure there are more.

I personally think it will be difficult for Greenport to make states this year, considering they have to beat Smithtown Christian. Greenport lost 2-1 against them, and Smithtown looks strong this year.

I love hearing about goal scorers and play makers but who are the top defenders to watch?
soccerkid09

North Babylon's Leo Fernandes and Antonio Crespi are great players but the team does not have a good defence

LITALK

Like I said once again Orlando Lopez he leads Suffolk County in goals scored this year, very good player colleges might want to take a look at him.

You can't forget defenders. In the crazy league four where anything can happen, defense is a huge part of the game. The two best defensive teams have a game this Friday (10/17): Smithtown at West Babylon. Smithtown has play a five back for most games and has even gone with a six men defense against the leading teams like WB and HHHW. West Babylon's defense is the most consistent in the league. Even when their offense struggles, they stay solid. And with HHHW's recent losses, the game this Friday may even decide the league championship, if the winner can remain strong for the rest of the season. Goals win games though. Which team's offense will step up?

The reason he is able to score so many goals is because he scores multiple goals against teams such as ross, mercy, and pierson. This makes it extremely easy for any play in league 8 to be the leading goal scorer
