I can only go back to the 70's ...a different era for Long Island Soccer. St Anthony's highly ranked number one ranked team in New York State, 56 game winning streak.. I have become friends and even played with some of the St. Anthony's team members from that team, all talented players back then two of them went on to play proffesionally. How ever and here's my point good teamms are well coached regardless of ability Sept 1973 a team from Brentwood Ross High School Dominated that team ( a Brentwood team that finished in third place in League one). Till this day I would put that brentwood team against that St Anthony's team anyday. I would put up any good team against any good team and the team that wants it the most will win.

juaau,

Bw concensus national champions, nscaa and espn rise? I still would watch a game between St. A and the Indians, but since you're the one who proposed the  measure of the pudding, perhaps you have another reason to say that BW is over rated  and St.A isn't?  Perhaps those biased nscaa coaches and the hacks at espn rise were bought and paid for?  Or maybe your opinion is just better informed and, although you aren't a St. A fan, perhaps you were wrong? Any how I hope you have a great thanksgiving and happy holiday season, better luck nest year, when BW returns most of it's largely junior based team.
