Suffolk County Soccer Awards were last night and like in previous years it was packed with great players and their parents, all the players worked hard this season and for many teams their acommplishments will be a memorable one for many years to come. One team in suffolk who had not been to the county championship in nineteen years was North Babylon lead by Antonio Crespi and Leo Fernandez both great players who carried their team a number 11th seed to the Championship, which nobody ever expected. Antonio Crespi not only lead his team this year in goals scored and total points (29) but also his league and he was number 8 on Long Island in total points. Antonio recieved an All County Award deservingly, however he was not considered for an All State Award even a 5th team All State, which makes you think did the coaches get it right, obviously not. Great job North Babylon for a winning season.
