| longhitPosts: 7Location: Join Date: September 15, 2008 11:41 AMSend Message | I think you will see Shoreham-Wading River come out of Suffolk Class B. Excellent team last year with a lot of young players coming back. | |
| longhitPosts: 7Location: Join Date: September 15, 2008 11:41 AMSend Message | Congratulations to Coach Bittner and congratulations to the excellent women athletes at Rocky Point for doing what had to be done to make their team into one of the new forces in Suffolk field hockey. That being said, if Rocky Point wants ocontinue the rise, the administration is going to have to provide a proper playing field. The photos in Newsday showed the grass for the SWR game to be two inches high, or more. #2., grass that high ruins the game. #1., it has been conclusively shown in field hockey that the higher the natural grass, the greater the incidence of serious injuries from excessive stick swinging. The grass should be cut the morning of the game and cut short. No reason that can't be done. | |

| hcattopPosts: 9Location: Join Date: September 23, 2008 3:32 PMSend Message | After Wednesday you can ask someone from Melville as they beat SWR 1-0 early on and are playing Sayville on Wednesday in a battle of unbeatens. Smaller schools may be better than large this year in suffolk- SWR, Sayville, Rocky Point, Miller Place, Pt. Jeff- all real good | |

| fhfan29Posts: 4Location: Join Date: September 12, 2008 6:48 PMSend Message | yes , there is a lot of talent on the sayville team . gallo , micillo , theofield , cabrals , cook , litvin .... all have so much talent, they are looking really good this year. | |
| FieldHockeyFan101Posts: 2Location: Join Date: October 15, 2008 9:18 PMSend Message | sayville has a lot of talent but in recent games it seems as if theyre falling apart, they are going to need to figure out a game plan that works like they had in the begining of the season. what does everyone think about the class B championship.. SWR against Sayville? who do we think will win and go on to play Garden city? | |
| observer354Posts: 7Location: Join Date: October 10, 2008 10:34 AMSend Message | yes sayville has had some difficulties lately but i still think they have the talent to beat swr for the class b championship, if they learn how to use their talent better and play to their full potential. good luck girls. | |
| FieldHockeyFan101Posts: 2Location: Join Date: October 15, 2008 9:18 PMSend Message | if sayville finds a game plan that works like they did today against north babylon, there isnt anyone that is going to stop them.. not even SWR. good luck sayville, i believe in you girls | |
| observer354Posts: 7Location: Join Date: October 10, 2008 10:34 AMSend Message | congrats to sayville for their 5-0 win over rocky point..i knew they'd be able to turn it around, keep it up girls ![]() |
