Sadly, the newspaper we all love to hate has done it again.  What a way to masacare the field hockey preview for the 2008 season.  If they were paying attention, they'd notice that they couldn't be any more wrong on a majority of their preview...ugh.  I am looking for a honest feel for the teams to beat.   Talk to me people, and leave your colors aside...

I really feel that the reporters covering high school field hockey are doing so less than enthusiastically. Their storytelling is textbook journalism 101.  I guess they forgot to pay attention when fact checking was being taught.  In other words... I totally agree with you.

So far in Suffolk, looks like M. Place, Port Jeff, Pierson, and of course SWR is really strong.  I really can't tell too much from the scores without seeing the action.  Other than those, I haven't seen anything that has impressed me much...but the season is young.

Pierson really has an easy schedule so I think their record is a bit deceiving...however, they are much improved from last year.
