So who does everybody like in tomorrow's big matchup in Suffolk League 1 between defending champs Melville and undefeated Sachem? Should be a good one. Almost half of the Empire State team will be on display between the two sides.

This was the best field hockey game I have ever seen. Both teams were amazing. As a Sachem fan I'm a little bias, but I think this Sachem team is going to the states this year.

I completely disagree with the post above. As a parent, I've seen much better hockey games played by both teams. I hate to say it but not the best game by melville. they did not play their best.

Didn't see game so can't say- but best game ever is quite a statement- doubt it since for one reason it was played on grass which is never as exciting. Best game I ever saw was Suffolk Finals 2 years ago when Smithtown East beat Ward Melville 4-3 in overtime on a disputed goal as the clock wound down. Smithtown East had a really good team that year but played poorly in Long Island Final. Melville was very young then (believe it or not they still are) but was led by senior Shalyn Blaney.
