In my opinion there are a few players that have gone to a completely different level than the rest of Long Island. The kids who are consistently playing in national tournaments have their own separate tournament to play. They are essentially playing each other for the title while everyone else watches from the side. These players include Brian Hwang, Sean Keller, Tim Rosenhouse, Kyle Stucklen, Michael Furci, Jordan Meltzer and Brandon Meltzer. Their combined experience in tournaments far more important than the county championship will lead to these 7 finishing on the top of the leaderboard and chance to win states. Currently, I believe that Hwang and Rosenhouse are the two powerhouses for this year. Their work ethics and desire to win are unmatched among the elite Long Island players. Like I saw in Hwang's article, Rosenhouse has also tweaked his swing over the winter and seems to be hungry to win this year. Yea ill give it to them, they arent bad players but they are the worst to play with. I havn't played them this year but some of the things i hear about them calling strokes on the dumbest things and playing slow to annoy other players is ridiculous.
